Ordering

You will be sent an order confirmation by email as soon as you have completed your order. The confirmation includes all your order information, such as products, price, invoicing and delivery address.

Please email us at info@caviar.nu if you notice a mistake in your confirmation. If you haven’t received your order confirmation, please check your spam folder before contacting us.

Delivery

Our normal time of delivery is 3 days. PLEASE NOTE! Orders placed on a weekend will be shipped on the following Monday at the earliest. If your delivery is delayed (and we haven’t been in contact to advise you of that), please email us at: info@caviar.nu.

Pricing

All prices in our web shop are in SEK (for Sweden) and Euro (for other European countries) which includes 12% VAT for food-items and 25% VAT for other goods.

We reserve the right to change prices caused by price changes from suppliers, printing errors in the price list and errors in prices due to incorrect information, and we reserve the right to adjust the price.

Right to cancel

As a customer purchasing goods on our website, you have a statutory 14-day right to cancel/return the order which applies from the time when you receive the goods. 

5.1 When exercising your right to cancel 

You have to notify us that you wish to cancel/return a product in writing by sending an email to info@caviar.nu. Your email should clearly state your name, your address, e-mail address, order number and the products you wish to cancel/return.

You need to return the products to us immediately after sending the cancellation notice and at the latest within the statutory 14 days.

You are responsible for return shipping, delivery and the condition of the products upon return. The products should therefore be sent well-packaged and in their original packaging.

We reserve the right to deduct an amount corresponding to the decrease in value compared to the original value of the product when a product has been used or damaged. 

5.2 The right to cancel does not apply to

Products that have been sealed for health or hygiene reasons, where the seal has been broken by you.

Products that have the character of sealed audio or video recording, where the seal has been broken by you.

Specially made products, customised or personalised for you or tailormade to your wishes.

Services that have been completed, where you have expressly agreed to the service being initiated without the right to cancel.

Perishable goods, such as food items.

Single issues of newspapers or magazines.

Faulty goods and consumer complaints

All our products are inspected before being shipped. If a product is damaged or incorrectly dispatched upon arrival, we undertake to rectify the error free of charge in accordance with the current consumer protection regulation.

You must always contact us for an approval before returning a defective item.

The complaint must be sent immediately after discovering the defect.

6.1 How to report faulty goods

Errors and defects must always be reported by email to info@caviar.nu. The email should include your name, address, e-mail address, order number and a description of the issue.

If we fail to rectify the issue or deliver a similar product, we will reimburse you for the defective product in accordance with the applicable consumer protection regulation. We are responsible for the return shipping for approved complaints.

We reserve the right to refuse a complaint if it turns out that the product is not defective in accordance with the current consumer protection regulation. In terms of complaints, we follow the guidelines from the Swedish National Board for Consumer Complaints, see arn.se.

Limitation of liability

We take no responsibility for indirect damages that may occur as a result of the product.
We do not accept responsibility for delays / errors due to circumstances beyond the company’s control (Force Majeure). These circumstances may be, i.e. labour dispute, fire, war, government decision, reduced or no delivery from supplier.

Furthermore, we take no responsibility for any changes to products / product properties that have been changed by the respective supplier and other factors beyond our control.

Product information

We reserve the right to make and correct printing errors on this website and the final sale of products. We do not guarantee that images reflect the exact appearance of the products, as a certain colour difference may occur depending on the screen/monitor, photo quality and resolution. We always do our best to show products as accurately as possible.

Payment provider

The information is stored in order to complete the purchase and to protect the parties against fraud. The payment providers (payment services) we use are: Klarna, Swish.

10.4.2 Shipping companies

In order to deliver your order and complete our agreement, we also have to share specific information with the shipping company. The information shared is your first and last name and delivery address information. E-mail address and / or mobile phone number may also be shared with the shipping company for notification. The shipping companies we work with are: DHL, UPS and TNT.

If you have chosen to subscribe to our newsletter, we will share your first and last name and e-mail address with our newsletter provider in order to keep you updated with information and offers for marketing purposes.
We use MailChimp when sending out news letters.
